Frequently Asked Questions About bCare Patient Care
1. Do I need to tip the caregiver?
No. Tipping is not expected in Vietnam. Caregivers are paid a fixed rate, and the quality of care is based on our review and rating system, not on tips. If you choose to tip, it is always appreciated but never expected.
2. Can a caregiver stay with the patient in the hospital?
Yes. In most Vietnamese hospitals, caregivers can stay with patients as family companions. They assist with daily care while nurses focus on medical treatment. When booking, simply provide the hospital and ward details so we can arrange the appropriate care.
3. Can I book and pay from overseas?
Yes. You can book, pay, and manage the service through the bTaskee app from anywhere in the world. After each shift, caregivers record care updates in the app so you can stay informed even if you are not in Vietnam.
4. Do caregivers speak English?
When you book, add English as a requirement in the notes. On bTaskee, caregivers choose which jobs to accept, so they see that note before they take the booking. A caregiver who accepts a job marked for English has already decided they can handle it
5. What if the caregiver is not the right fit?
You can request a different caregiver at any time through the bTaskee app or by contacting our support team. We will help you find a better match based on the patient's needs and preferences.
6. How can I stay updated if I cannot be there?
Before care begins, you can share important information such as medication schedules, meal preferences, or daily routines. During each shift, caregivers record updates in the bTaskee app, including daily notes, medication reminders, and vital signs, so you can easily follow the patient's recovery from anywhere.
