Frequently Asked Questions About bCare Patient Care
1. Will hiring a caregiver replace my role as a family member?
Not at all. Many families feel unsure about asking for help at first. Choosing a caregiver simply means your loved one has someone there when you can't be. You remain involved in every decision, while the caregiver helps provide consistent day-to-day support.
2. How is a bCare caregiver different from a nurse?
They have different roles. Nurses provide clinical care and medical procedures under a doctor's direction. bCare caregivers focus on everyday support, basic health monitoring, and helping people recover comfortably at home or in the hospital.
3. How do I know the caregiver is the right fit?
Before confirming your booking, you can review the caregiver's profile, qualifications, and experience in the bTaskee app. If you'd like, you can also speak with them beforehand to discuss your loved one's needs and daily routine.
4. Can I request a different caregiver?
Of course. Every person has different needs, routines, and personalities. If you feel another caregiver would be a better fit, simply let us know through the app and we'll help arrange a replacement.
5. What if my caregiver can't continue providing care?
If something unexpected happens, our team will keep you informed and work to arrange another suitable caregiver as quickly as possible, helping minimise interruptions to your loved one's care.
6. How can I stay updated if I can't be there?
Before care begins, you can share important information such as medication schedules, meal preferences, or daily routines. During each visit, updates are available through the bTaskee app, so you can stay informed wherever you are.
7. What if my loved one's care needs change?
Care is always provided according to the plan agreed with your family. If your loved one's condition changes, the caregiver will discuss any adjustments with you before making changes to the care plan.
8. What happens if there's an emergency during a care visit?
Your loved one's safety always comes first. If an unexpected situation arises, the caregiver will respond appropriately and contact both your family and the bCare team so the right support can be arranged as quickly as possible.
