Questions Families Often Ask
1. Does hiring a caregiver mean I'm no longer caring for my parents?
Not at all. A caregiver is there to support your family, not replace your role. You remain involved in every care decision, while the caregiver helps your loved one receive consistent support when you can't be there.
2. How is bCare different from hiring a caregiver through a personal referral?
Both options can be valuable. With bCare, every caregiver is verified, professionally trained, and supported by clear service standards, transparent pricing, customer support, and a structured feedback process to help ensure consistent quality.
3. What if my parent isn't comfortable with a new caregiver?
It's common for older adults to need time to adjust. Many families begin with shorter visits so trust can develop naturally before moving to a longer care schedule.
4. What if the caregiver isn't the right fit?
Every older adult has different routines and preferences. If your family feels another caregiver would be a better match, we'll help arrange a replacement so care can continue with confidence.
5. How will the caregiver know my parent's daily routine and care needs?
Before the first visit, you'll be asked to share important information such as medications, dietary preferences, daily routines, and any special care instructions. Your caregiver follows the agreed care plan throughout every visit.
6. Is bCare Elderly Care suitable for someone with an existing medical condition?
In many cases, yes. During booking, you'll be asked to provide details about your loved one's health condition, medications, and specific care needs so the caregiver can prepare appropriately before the first visit.
7. What happens if there's an issue during a care visit?
If something doesn't go as expected, our support team will review the situation and work with your family to resolve it in accordance with bTaskee's service policies.
8. Can bCare caregivers perform medical procedures?
No. bCare caregivers provide non-medical elderly care, including assistance with daily living, medication reminders, companionship, and basic health monitoring. Medical procedures should always be performed by appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
