These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute an agreement between bTaskee Company Limited (“bTaskee”, “we”, “us”) and you (“You”, “User”) when you access and use the AI Assistant/AI Chatbot feature in the bTaskee Home Services Application (“Application”).
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE TERMS BELOW BEFORE DECIDING TO ACCEPT. BY CLICKING “AGREE” AND/OR CONTINUING TO USE THE AI ASSISTANT, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, INCLUDING ANY MODIFICATIONS, ADDITIONS, OR UPDATES (IF ANY) MADE BY BTASKEE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
1. Definitions
- AI Assistant/AI Chatbot: An automated response system using artificial intelligence technology to enhance the User’s experience by supporting customer service, consultation, inquiries, and guidance on using bTaskee services. The AI Assistant/AI Chatbot shall not be deemed to represent bTaskee or substitute bTaskee’s Customer Support staff.
- Your Content: Any information, text, images, files, data, or other content that you input or submit to the AI Assistant.
- Output: Any responses, suggestions, instructions, guidance, or links generated by the AI Assistant.
- Terms of Use: means the terms and conditions governing the use of the Application
2. Purpose and Scope of Support
The AI Assistant is provided for the purpose of:
- Answering frequently asked questions regarding services available on the Application.
- Providing consultation and support during your use of services available on the Application.
- Guiding you on how to use the Application (including booking services, payment, using promotion codes, checking account information, etc.).
3. Important limitations and Disclaimers:
- You acknowledge and understand that the output information is generated entirely automatically; therefore, such outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not up to date.
- The AI Assistant does not replace bTaskee Customer Support staff and does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice, nor does it make any binding commitments on behalf of bTaskee.
- We recommend that the output information be used solely for reference purposes. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the output information and the official information displayed in the Application and/or the Term of Use, the official information displayed in the Application, the Term of Use (or the confirmation provided by bTaskee’s Customer Care Department) shall prevail.
- Any decisions, particularly those related to urgent matters, complex complaints, disputes, or compensation requests, etc. must be verified by bTaskee Customer Support (see Section 13).
- You shall be solely responsible for any use of, reliance on, or dependence upon the output information in making any decision to act or to refrain from acting. You further acknowledge and agree that bTaskee shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the output information in contravention of bTaskee’s recommendations.
4. Acceptance and Conditions of Use
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your place of residence, if higher than 18) to use the AI Assistant. If you are under this age, you must obtain consent and supervision from a legal guardian.
- You agree to use the AI Assistant for its intended purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
- bTaskee may update these Terms from time to time, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and/or bTaskee’s regulations and internal policies. Updated versions will be published in the Application or website. You are responsible for regularly reviewing such updates on the Application or website.Your continued use of the AI Assistant constitutes acceptance of such updates.
5. Your Content and Content Usage Rights
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your Content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
- By providing Your Content, you hereby agree to grant bTaskee the right to receive, store, process, and use such content for the purposes of:
- Operating the AI Assistant and providing support to you;
- Improving service quality, training support operations, and quality control (which may include the use of conversation data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws).
- You understand that Your Content may be processed through technological infrastructure and/or third-party service providers related to the AI Assistant (if any).
Important recommendation: Do not submit information that you do not wish to share or information classified as sensitive (see Section 6).
6. Do Not Share Sensitive Data
AI Assistant does not request and you should not provide the AI Assistant with the following information:
- Passwords, OTP codes, PINs, payment card details, or bank account information.
- Identification numbers (National ID, Citizen ID, Passport), document images, or biometric data.
- Health information, medical records, children’s information, or other sensitive data as defined by law.
- Trade secrets, internal information, or confidential data of any organization.
If you nevertheless provide such information, you do so at your own risk to the extent permitted by law.
7. Privacy and Personal Data Processing
- When using the AI Assistant, bTaskee may process personal data related to your account, chat content, device and technical information, and (where necessary) service booking data to provide contextual support.
- Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy or Privacy Notice in your market.
- You agree that bTaskee may contact you via legitimate channels (in-app notifications, email, or phone) for customer support, service-related communication, or information provision in accordance with applicable regulations and your preferences.
8. User Responsibilities When Using the AI Assistant
You understand and agree that:
- Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or may not be suitable for your specific situation.
- You must independently assess Outputs before acting upon them, and any decisions made based on Outputs are your sole responsibility.
You must not use the AI Assistant to:
- Violate laws; harass, threaten, abuse, insult, incite hatred, or distribute harmful content.
- Send spam, unauthorized advertisements, fraudulent content, or impersonate others.
- Exploit system vulnerabilities, bypass security measures, or gain unauthorized access.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to collect data, scrape content, or overload the system.
- Copy, republish, or commercialize Outputs or system content in ways that infringe intellectual property rights or violate these Terms.
9. Third-Party Links and Reference Content
- The AI Assistant may provide links or guidance to third-party websites or platforms.
- bTaskee does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, products, or services of third parties.
- When accessing third-party platforms, their respective terms and policies apply.
10. Intellectual Property
- The AI Assistant, the Application, and all related components (including interfaces, system content, trademarks, and logos) are owned by bTaskee and/or its lawful licensors.
- You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial right to use the AI Assistant in accordance with the Application license and these Terms.
11. Suspension or Termination of the AI Assistant
bTaskee may suspend or terminate the AI Assistant (in whole or in part) in the event of:
- Maintenance, upgrades, or resolve technical issues;
- Compliance with legal or regulatory requirements;
- Prevention of fraud, abuse, or risks to system security;
- your breach of any provision of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the country or territory where you use the service (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, or Malaysia), while respecting mandatory local regulations applicable in each market.
- In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek resolution through negotiation or Customer Support channels. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
